After completing my BSc degree in Mathematics at Bilkent University, and MSc degree in Economics at Istanbul Bilgi University, I joined the Department of Quantitative Economics at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, for my PhD education. During my graduate education at Maastricht University, I was a tutor in courses, which particularly adopted Problem-Based Learning.
Upon completion of my PhD degree, I started to work as Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at MEF University, Turkey, in March 2014. Currently, I am appointed as Associate Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences, and also a member of advisory board of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching in December 2015. Since 2014, I instructed various courses at MEF University with teaching methodology Flipped Learning, and these courses can be classified under three clusters as quantitative, economics, and student development courses.
